Located on secluded Grounds near Tautu Village, a 10 minute walk to the Tautu Landing where you can swim, picnic or just relax. Tautu Village and two small shops within a 5 minute walk. A 10 minute drive to the center of Arutanga, the Post Office, Bank, harbor, Fishing club, market Place, and all the action. 2 minute walk to Cafe Tupuna. Good food, pleasant atmosphere.

Four spacious well appointed, self-contained lodges with self catering facilities, set in a private and peaceful tropical garden. Equipped and furnished for comfortable and relaxed living!

Each Lodge Beautifully decorated with Locally Tie died Curtains and bed spreads. Well equipped with Refrigerator, Stove tops, toaster , microwaves, and tea pots. Stocked with available fresh fruit and vegetables.

All lodges fully screened, have fans, full cooking facilities, hot water, refrigerators, and TV's. (TV local programing from 6pm to almost 11pm nightly)

Each unit will accommodate 4 adults, or 3 adults and 2 children (Children - 10 to 15)

One double bed and one single bed down stairs and two single beds in the loft.

The Lodges are serviced daily.

Rentals

Push Bikes, Motor Bikes, and Cars available. Hosts will help you arrange a Lagoon Cruise, Island Night, Lagoon or Outside Fishing, and scuba diving.

"Ida Maud"

7.45 metre Aluminum hulled launch. Equipped with wheelhouse, cabin, and sheltered shaded seating are for guests on the aft deck. Powered by (2) Yamaha 115 HP outboards.
Used to take guests on day trips to our property on Akaiami Island and other lagoon Motus
Des & Tutai both hold Marine Board Certified Boatmaster Certificates

Akaiami Island

The Clarkes own a private beach house on Akaiami Island in the Lagoon. The house is solid concrete block with some ancillary buildings. They offer lagoon excursions to that island and overnighting options to their guests

Akaiami in history had the only International air port terminal on an island with a population of "0".

Sea planes of TEAL (Trans Empire Air Lines) landed in front of Akaiami and ferried the passengers a shore for a break while the plane was refueled.. Passengers for Rarotonga were then taken by launch to Aitutaki and ship to Rarotonga,

On going passengers for Tahiti or Samoa were given a break and then carried on with their flight.
